Ready Set Drift "Instinct Twin Drift Competition" Was a Day to Remember

Had the privilege of shooting at Ready Set Drift event at the Pocono Speedway. This was my fist time I was there and I am impressed. Even with a 2 hr drive the event was well worth the trip.  This was a more intimate setting, no grandstands, no long lines for the bathroom and nothing but a sense of family.

The drivers was a good round up. There were some that had their cars and the track dialed in and just a small few had their struggles. All the struggles are par for the course though. From over steering to low grip the day was filled with it fair share of course correction. As practice started to come to a close most of the drivers had it dialed in.
As each driver drove up to the line not knowing it would be their last they poured their heart into each of the 3 runs. In the end 3 teams stood on the podium and was still humble with their fellow drivers.

The twin teams battled it out in the finals giving us and the judges a good show. Tandem teams was a new experience for me. I have never seen an event held like this. It was good to see a different structure in an event. I have to say I am excited for the next event That RSD puts on.
